Energy Efficiency & Audit Workshop and Energy Fair
Time: 10 am – 5 pm
Location:   Gateway Center, Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii

Hawaii Community College, Friends of NELHA and HELCO bring the “Green Team” to help you save money on your electric bill.  The workshop will cover six major topics: Analyzing your electric bill; How to do an energy audit on your home or office; New devices to cut your energy usage; Calculating the return on your investment; Rebates, tax credits and other incentives; and Financing your energy efficiency equipment. To make a reservation for this free workshop, call the Hawaii Community College Office of Continuing Education at 974-7531.  This workshop is made possible through the County of Hawaii Department of Research and Development.  The public is invited to attend Gateway Center and solar site tours from 2 – 3 p.m. and from 3 – 5 p.m. an Energy Fair with displays and exhibits showcasing green building, solar energy and the latest energy efficiency technologies.  Beginning at 3 p.m., pupus will also be offered as part of a networking and educational opportunity for the public.
