The premier Hawai`i conference and expo promoting socially and environmentally responsible business practices will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, 9:00am-4:00pm, at the Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort. This unique full-day conference of stimulating speakers and an organic locally-sourced gourmet lunch is only $60 for the general public, $50 for Kona-Kohala Chamber members.
The signature event of the Chamber’s Kuleana Green Business Program, the Kuleana Business Conference & Trade Show highlights businesses and operational practices which are contributing to a more self-sufficient, just, and ecologically wise economy. A locally-sourced, organic lunch will be provided.
The trade show features 40 exhibiting businesses demonstrating how their products, services, and operations contribute to the welfare of employees, customers, the community, society, and the environment. The expo is open throughout the conference but also opens to the public at no charge for pau hana from 4:00 and 6:30 pm, sponsored by Kona Brewing Company.
